One of the major elements of the coming Havoc downloadable content pack for the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare shooter is a new Exo Zombies mode and the development team at Sledgehammer Games is at the moment teasing its story and content via a number of increasingly mysterious images and messages.

This is one sample message that the studio has published on Twitter, which has changed its name for the moment, but the company is not yet willing to offer any clear details on the narrative that it is planning to deliver for the fans.

Exo Zombies benefits from very high profile voice actors appearances, including John Malkovich from Con Air, Bill Paxton, seen in Edge of Tomorrow, Rose McGowan from Planet Terror, and Jon Bernthal.

The cast means that Sledgehammer Games needs to have a solid narrative with plenty of banter between the characters, which also needs to be engaging enough to keep gamers interested and convince them to purchase future DLC packages in order to get to the conclusion.

Exo Zombies for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a cooperative experience which asks four players to carefully select their exo-skeleton powers and then work together in order to take out a variety of waves of undead.

Havoc also introduces more maps for gamers to explore

Exo Zombies for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will certainly be interesting for gamers who are looking to try and see how a team of players can perform against AI-controlled enemies, but the main draw of Havoc are the four new maps.

They are designed to add variety to the gameplay and will certainly keep long-term fans occupied for a long time as they devise new strategies for the various game modes.

Havoc for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be offered on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 on January 27 and will arrive on other platforms about one month later.

Sledgehammer Games has also recently announced that it plans to take a hard stance against all those using reverse boosting in multiplayer, which will probably result in more bans in the coming weeks.
