The development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision have already announced that they will launch a new Ascendance downloadable content for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on March 31 on both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360.

Now, the two companies are ready to introduce more details about the four maps which will be introduced and will become part of the multiplayer rotation.

Site 244 is set inside an alien spacecraft that sits near Mount Rushmore and will feature a spore which can be activated via killstreak so that gamers can enhance their own capabilities as they battle on the three classic designed lanes.

Perplex takes the action to Sidney and will involve construction drones that move apartment modules around, which means that gamers will need to shift their strategy as they seek to dominate the small to medium-sized map.

Climate takes Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare fans to a biodome that's circular and allows gamers to move across both land and water, with the killstreak turning the later into a deadly obstacle.

Chop Shop is the final map in Ascendance and it is designed to move the battle to an exo-skeleton industrial complex, where a microwave EMP can be used to lock down certain sections as teams seek to control the action.

A new Grapple playlist is also coming to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

The OHM and its Werewolf variant weapons are already in the hands of those players who have bought the Season Pass.

The surprise is that Sledgehammer Games is also introducing a new Exo Grapple playlist with Ascendance, which allows gamers to use the ability from the campaign in multiplayer, thus giving them more ways to move around the maps and take out enemies.

For fans of Exo Zombies, the DLC is adding the new Infection chapter, which will see John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal as they try to make sure that the undead do not manage to overrun a Burger Town franchise where they are located.

The developers are introducing new enemies for gamers to take out and more weapons for them to use.

Ascendance for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be offered on the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the PC about one month after it arrives on the Xbox One and the 360.
