Curved displays are unusual enough just by virtue of being, well, curved, but HP didn't let it lie with just that when it made the HP Z34c, HP ENVY 34c, HP EliteDisplay S270c and HP Pavilion 27c Curved Displays.

The HP Z34c and HP ENVY 34c 3000r Curved Displays are 34-inch products with 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution (yes, they're ultra wide), 98% coverage of the sRGB color space, and a premium 6 watt/channel speakers with DTS Audio (each). They also have VESA-compatible Brackets.

More importantly, they support picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture functionality, meaning you can connect both a PC and a TV to it and use them at once, or two PCs or any other devices with conventional display connectors. Their price is of $999 / €837.

HP EliteDisplay S270c and HP Pavilion 27c 4000r Curved Displays are 27-inch panels with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 95% sRGB coverage. These two get 4 watt/channel speakers with DTS Audio. They are priced at $399 / €334 - €399.

The four newcomers all have exceptional 3000:1 contrast ratio (normal one is 1000:1, so it's a really high clarity here), as well as 178-degree viewing angles and MHL (allows them to mirror phone/tablet content).

Only the 27-inch ones are available now. The HP Z34c and HP ENVY 34c 3000r will only start shipping in April.
