14 DAY TRIAL // One of the best iOS games of 2014, Bridge Constructor: Medieval has finally arrived on Windows Phone 8 platform. As with all mobile games, developer Headup Games brought its title to iOS and Android operating systems and about six months later to Windows Phone.
There’s a high chance that the game wouldn’t have made it to Windows Phone if it hadn’t been so popular on the other two. Luckily, it’s among the best-selling games on App Store and Google Play Store, so Windows Phone users will now be able to enjoy it as well.
Bridge Constructor: Medieval is also available on PC since September, 2014, so with the Windows Phone release, developers made sure they cover some of the most important gaming platforms, excluding consoles.
In Bridge Constructor: Medieval players must build durable bridges needed in order to supply their cities with provisions. But that is not all, as bridges must not be too sturdy so they can be collapsed when attacking troops try to cross them.
The game comes with several modes that challenge veterans
In order to do that, you will be able to use five materials: wood, heavy wood, stone, ropes and bridge roof. The Windows Phone game includes no less than 40 new levels, in which you will have to protect your soldiers and carriages with covered bridges and as stable as possible pillar structures.
The game offers a few modes for veterans of the series, like the siege mode, where players’ bridges are bombarded by catapults so they need to strengthen them in order to keep them from collapsing.
Another game mode allows players to build their bridges so that they collapse under the weight of enemy troops. Last but not least, the game comes with a bonus challenge that will test the skill of all Bridge Constructor veterans.
You can now download Bridge Constructor: Medieval for Windows Phone for €1.99 ($1.99) via Windows Phone store. The game is fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
