George Clooney and Brad Pitt used to be the best of friends, but they’re hardly on speaking terms these days, after a major fallout stemming from professional envy. To make matters worse, whatever interactions they still have are made more awkward by the fact that their wives, Amal Clooney and Angelina Jolie, also hate each other.

The two actors are “at each other’s throats” almost all the time now, Radar Online claims, citing a National Enquirer report.

“Big-bucks business deal went belly-up”

Unnamed sources claiming to be close to the stars reveal for the tab that the two got into a professional dispute when they were both trying to obtain the rights to the book “Law of the Jungle,” which will be turned into a film.

Eventually, it was Pitt’s production company Plan B that closed the deal, which terribly bummed George out.

“George desperately wanted the project. Brad knew it, but he scooped it up anyway. He told George, ‘It’s just business, man.’ But George can’t forgive him. He thinks Brad’s a big phony now - praising him to the press and then stabbing him in the back!,” the spy explains.

Apparently, Pitt does more than just stab people he refers to as friends in the back: the same report claims that, in one passionate argument, Brad yelled at his former BFF “I hate you! Drop dead!” Apparently, Brad and George are now 14 years old.

Angelina and Amal still hate each other, have done so since day one

The same report recycles an older rumor about the animosity between Angelina Jolie and Amal Clooney, formerly Alamuddin, citing sources that say that, even if it hadn’t been for this business deal to come between the boys, they would still have drifted apart because of their wives.

Yes, they can’t stand each other. According to the same spy, Angelina “thinks Amal is putting on airs,” while Amal believes Angelina is a “pretender.”

If this rings familiar, it’s because it’s a report that has been around for many months, claiming that Amal believed herself superior to Angelina because she was schooled. Angelina, on the other hand, wasn’t, which convinced Mrs. Clooney that she was a “fake” who was using her celebrity image to distract from the fact that she was playing way out of her league.
