After confirming that Bloodborne has officially gone gold earlier this week, Sony now rolls out a fresh gameplay video that acts as the official launch trailer for the PS4 exclusive role-playing experience.

Japanese studio From Software has been active for quite some time but only recently has it become a household name for role-playing game fans from all over the world thanks to titles like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1, and 2.

The team partnered up with Sony's Japan crew and is now set to bring forth Bloodborne, another fantasy role-playing experience that acts as a sort of spiritual successor to the Souls titles and will appear only on the PS4 platform, as part of a special exclusivity deal.

The official launch trailer sets the stage for the long-awaited RPG

After hearing a lot about the game's impressive story, its fierce enemies and its tough mechanics, not to mention the innovative multiplayer features, fans now enjoy the launch trailer for the upcoming RPG.

As you can see in the footage below, the video starts off by setting the stage and emphasizing the importance of blood in the actual story, and then quickly starts highlighting the actual action and the many enemies players will face off against. Some interesting combat sequences are presented, so keep your eyes peeled during those hectic moments.

Without a doubt Bloodborne is shaping up to be one of, if not the biggest PS4 release of the year, especially since Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was recently delayed until spring of 2016.

Bloodborne launches in North America on March 24, and in Europe and most parts of the world on March 25. Expect to hear and see much more of the game until then as Sony is ramping up the marketing campaign in order to make sure that all PS4 owners are aware of the role-playing game's launch and have it on their purchase radar, so to say.
