A brand new gameplay video from the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne has made its way to the Internet.

The new footage shows a battle against the deadly Cleric Beast boss, highlighting some of the moves that the monster will employ against you when you finally get to face him.

The video is the second part of a series featuring popular Japanese actor Nobuaki Kaneko, who tackles From Software's upcoming fantasy hack-and-slash game Bloodborne.

The actor initially gets mauled by the hulking Cleric Beast, after which he regains his composure and heads in once again, getting his revenge. This is most likely the scenario each of us will go through later this month, so the heads-up is pretty welcome.

The footage comes in 1080p resolution, so it also gives up a pretty good idea of what the game will look like in action. The second video shows the actor's performance from yesterday, when he demonstrated decent skills and showcased more of the title's gameplay.

A very intriguing premise

From Software became famous for creating Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Dark Souls 2, praised for the mix of high difficulty and mysterious setting, and Bloodborne is going to feel both familiar and fresh to fans of the series.

The game takes place in a fictional city inspired by Victorian-era London, called Yharnam, where a magical remedy is said to be found.

Many ailing individuals flock to the city in search of the mythical cure, only to find the city overrun by corruption, turned into a haven for the wicked.

Bloodborne also shifts the focus from the insane difficulty and precision required during fights to a more user-friendly system that emphasizes aggression, instead of a more passive approach, as the way to go.

Bloodborne is expected exclusively on the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony, on March 24 in North America, March 25 in Europe, and March 26 in Japan.
