The media is ganging up on comedian and actor Bill Cosby. As more and more women are stepping forward to claim that Cosby has raped them at some point or another, the comedian is staying unusually quiet, refusing to address the issue.

So far, there have only been fingers pointing at Cosby, but at least one voice is willing to speak up for the aging actor. Her name is Raven Symone, and she used to share the screen with him back in the days when he did “The Cosby Show.”

Symone hits back at people who claim she was molested by Cosby back when she appeared on his show

TMZ reports that Symone was very upset when a rumor emerged that she had been molested by Cosby back in the day and she came forward to deny it, although it had already gone viral. Keep in mind that Raven was 3 years old at the time she appeared on the show and if she was indeed assaulted by Cosby, that would have been an extremely disturbing act.

Symone has spoken out and claimed that “This is a truly disgusting rumor that I want no part of!” before assuring everyone that she was not inappropriately touched by Cosby. On Instagram, she added a message which read “Keep me out of this.”

Apart from the rape allegations, Cosby is now in danger of being excluded from the entertainment industry after he has had several appearances canceled and some shows pulled from the air. Yesterday we learned that Netflix decided to cancel his Thanksgiving special and today The Hollywood Reporter says that NBC has also scrapped showing a family comedy starring the actor.

The network claims that the cancelation is related to problems with the production

NBC claims that they are canceling the project because they never received a final script for the project that remains untitled and that was supposed to star Cosby as the patriarch of a family with three married daughters with children.

Just yesterday, model Janice Dickinson said in a startling interview that Bill Cosby had drugged and raped her back in 1982, luring her to his Lake Tahoe residence with promises for a role on his series, as well as help with launching her on a musical career.

Her allegations matched the ones filed by several other women along the years. Joan Tarshis claims that the actor raped her on two occasions in 1969, Barbara Bowman said she was drugged and raped in the 1980s, about the same time that Dickinson said Cosby gave her a pill and a glass of red wine which knocked her out.
