Bill Cosby might have decided that the silent treatment is the best way to deal with the rape scandal as more and more women are stepping forward to confess he abused them in the past, but his career and his finances have already taken a dive.
In light of the recent accusations, Netflix has decided to cancel the launch of the veteran' actor's stand-up comedy special “Bill Cosby 7,” that was set to debut after Thanksgiving. The network said in a statement that “At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand up comedy special 'Bill Cosby 77,” according to Aceshowbiz.
This announcement comes after the announced cancellation of Cosby's appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman and after just yesterday, model Janice Dickinson has decided to come forward and confess Cosby's abuse on her in 1982, after he drugged her at his home in Lake Tahoe.
There are rumors that Cosby's developing project with NBC, a new sitcom, is also going to be canceled to the rape accusations. It seems the entertainment industry wants nothing to do with people bearing this horrible stigma and is doing its best to distance itself from them or risk the public's wrath.
