With Battlefield Hardline about to enter its launch month, the development team at Visceral Games and those in charge of publishing it at Electronic Arts have been working overtime to deliver information to various segments of the player base and reassure them about the quality of the coming first-person shooter.

It's time for PC fans of the franchise to get a lot of information from the two companies as a new article on the official site features gameplay systems producer Mike Gloseski explaining how the advantages of the platform are being exploited.

The developer says that his team has been working hard to make sure that PC gamers have options when it comes to graphics, controls and more, and that the game has been built to use the various hardware configurations.

Battlefield Hardline players will be able to use a 1920x1080p resolution and they will also get the choice to tweak other aspects of the game for a more immersive experience.

Gloseski also says that the problems that Battlefield 4 had on launch on the PC will not be present because extensive testing means that almost all bugs have been eliminated already.

He adds, "As a side note, we are also making changes to Battlelog to include a new pop-up on how to activate the plugin in your browser since this was an issue for some of our players."

Battlefield Hardline will get a CTE environment soon after launch

The game maker also says that Visceral Games is aiming to make the Community Test Environment available to those playing Battlefield Hardline on the PC.

Using it will allow the studio to get feedback quickly and to test a range of changes before they are implemented into the full version of the shooter.

The CTE has made Battlefield 4 a more stable experience and DICE plans to use it to get input from gamers in order to create an entire map and then launch it for free.

Battlefield Hardline was delayed from its original 2014 launch date because of concerns over quality, but feedback coming from the open beta has been very positive.

The title will be out on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles on March 17 in the US and March 19 in Europe with a trial version that's ten hours long set to be offered on March 12 on EA Access.
