Electronic Arts and Visceral Games have rolled out during the recent Game Awards ceremony a special video of their upcoming Battlefield Hardline first-person shooter experience, this time highlighting the story that's modeled after intense crime dramas.

Battlefield Hardline introduces quite a few new things to the regular Battlefield recipe, starting with a new conflict that revolves around cops vs. criminals, instead of soldiers against other armies. Developer Visceral Games has already made it clear that it is modeling the experience after crime dramas seen on TV or in movies.

Now, during The Game Awards ceremony, a special trailer has been revealed, showcasing Hardline's story campaign in action. As you can see, there will be plenty of intense moments in the upcoming first-person shooter, focusing mostly on the war on drugs in the Miami area.

The game also promises to show both sides of the conflict, as players will be enlisted to play as cops but also as criminals, in order to see the bigger picture.

You can expect to see and hear much more about Battlefield Hardline in the following months, as we get closer to its release across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms on March 17 worldwide. Until then, check out the pretty great trailer below.
