DC Comics is announcing that it is aiming to deliver a new comic book series called Batman: Arkham Knight - Genesis, which is set to arrive for all interested readers and collectors on July 29 of this year and will run for six issues.

Those who read it will be able to get more information about the origins and the evolution of the newest addition to the gallery of rogues that The Dark Knight needs to deal with.

The Batman: Arkham Knight - Genesis mini-series is created by writer Pete Tomasi and artist Alisson Borges, who have other links with the franchise, according to IGN.

The problems with the launch date of July 29 is that the video game should be out for one month by that point.

This means gamers will have already learned about Arkham Knight from the story told by Rocksteady and won't need an extra dose of details.

The timing has made some fans suspect that a new delay might be in store for the coming Batman video game.

It's also possible that the DC Comics series will deliver just small extra details and is only aimed at the most dedicated of fans, who will not mind reading events that they have already played through.

The Batman Knight is specifically created for the new video game

The development team at Rocksteady has worked closely with DC Comics to create the new villain and to make him a worthy adversary for The Dark Knight.

The Arkham Knight wears a military-inspired uniform that features some elements that are similar to what users saw on Batman's suit, and he is backed by powerful operatives with advanced equipment.

He is also willing to work with Scarecrow despite the fact that he does not seem too happy with the situation.

The new title in the series will allow gamers to drive the Batmobile around the city for the first time and will also have an enhanced combat system.

The development team is also promising a story that manages to close all the smaller plot points that previous installments have left hanging.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on June 23, after a series of delays that allowed Rocksteady to increase the quality of the experience.
