Just in case some of you are completely and irrevocably in love with hamburgers, sausages or whatever other culinary delights can be grilled, you should know that a mammoth barbecue pit is now up for sale on eBay.

Mind you, this barbecue pit is not for those who don't want their love of grilled meat to keep them from celebrating their next birthday. In a nutshell, it measures 75 feet (23 meters) in length and tips the scale at about 40 tons.

In fact, it's not all that far-fetched to say that, from afar, it looks less like a barbecue pit and more like a truck. Check out the photos accompanying this article to see for yourselves if you're having trouble taking our word for it.

Introducing the absolute largest barbecue ever

The pit, now owned by one Terry Folsom from Texas, US, goes by the name of the Undisputable Cuz. As mentioned, its size is nothing if not impressive. In fact, the barbecue is said to be the absolute largest ever used to cook hamburgers anywhere in the world.

The pit comes complete with 24 doors, 12 on each of its sides, and is ventilated by as many as 7 chimneys. The heat it needs to do its job and prepare delicious meals comes from a fairly small fire and is carried around the installation by a tube.

Interestingly enough, the barbecue is designed to serve people not just meat but also beer. Thus, it is fitted with a walk-in cooler with special room for kegs. Thanks to taps fitted on the outside of this cooler, folks can quickly and easily refresh their drinks.

If you have the money, the Undisputable Cuz can be yours

When putting the monster barbecue up for sale on eBay, owner Terry Folsom decided to ask for $350,000 (almost €312,000) for it. Apparently, the reason he is terribly eager to get rid of it is that his wife can't stand having it around any longer.

If you're thinking about buying it, you should know that, given its size, the only way for this barbecue to get around is carefully nestled in the back of a truck. The good news is that, for a measly $50,000 (roughly €45,000), Terry Folsom is ready and willing to also sell the Peterbilt that has until now served as its home.

True, some might argue that $350,000 is a wee too much money to spend on a barbecue pit. Then again, the Undisputable Cuz can cook up to 4 tons of meat at a time, so it might well be worth its impressive price tag.
