If you’re looking for high-quality but cheap games in the Windows Store these days, search no more because Assassin's Creed Pirates is now available with a 56 percent discount.

Ubisoft’s latest title on Windows 8.1 now costs only $1.99 (€1.5) and is available with this very special price for the next 7 days, as Microsoft refreshes the Red Stripe Deals campaign every week.

The game allows you to build your own crew and ship, upgrade your vessel and learn more than 60 pirating techniques to become the master of naval combats.

“Become one of the most feared pirates of the Caribbean in this exclusive Assassin's Creed adventure on smartphones and tablets! Play as Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious captain, a pirate eager to take on the fiercest of enemies... Break all the rules, challenge empires and make your own fortune!” the game description published in the store reads.

As you could easily guess, Assassin’s Creed Pirates can be played on both desktops and tablets and also supports Windows RT devices, such as Microsoft’s very own Surface RT.

Touch support is really great, so you shouldn’t have any problem in playing this game on a tablet or any other device running Windows 8.1 and featuring a touchscreen.
