Ariana is famous for her impersonations and here’s why

Last month, when Christina Aguilera was invited on Jimmy Fallon to promote the new season of The Voice on NBC, the talk show host invited her to take part in a little game he had invented, called the Wheel of Impressions.

When Aguilera had to do a Britney Spears impersonation, the audience went crazy, since it was a known fact that these two were rivals for the title of Princess of Pop at one point in their career. The video went viral shortly afterwards.

Fallon has done it again, this time with Ariana Grande. The pint-sized pop star hasn’t done too many talk show appearances (she even says this is her first, but she’s referring to the first in the US, since she’s done a few appearances abroad), so she was a bit nervous.

Fallon suggested she did something to relieve the stress by singing, and suggested she did one of her famous impersonations. They ended up doing a Celine Dion duet, which was amazing and hilarious. Ariana, as you can see in the second video below, can do a wide array of impersonations, and she always takes them seriously.

With this Celine Dion number, she even tried to recreate Celine’s flair for dramatic gestures on stage, and she ended up hitting the microphone on her chest several times. Still, she’s talented and funny - so maybe she should consider doing more of these appearances.
