Apple has opened up a section on its online store called Toys & Games, featuring remote race cars, drones, gaming systems that work with iDevices, game controllers, video cameras, and more.

If you’re looking to delight your family with some awesome gifts this Christmas, there’s no better place to browse than the Apple Online Store. Well, in case money isn’t a problem anyway.

Fly & Drive

Apple’s brick & mortar stores host only a handful of the toys listed on the company’s online store, which is why you’ll want to grab a hot cup of cocoa and make up your mind before you hit the road. At store.apple.com, you won’t have a problem checking off some items on your family’s wish list.

For example, Apple offers the Parrot MiniDrone Rolling Spider, a flying drone that connects to any iPhone or iPad and can be remote controlled in a range of up to 65 feet / 20 meters. It can fly up to 11 mph / 18 km/h and it’s said to be one of the most stable quadricopters of this size. You can have one for $99.95 / €99.95.

The Limited Edition Sphero 2.0 is quite an amazing toy. Also controlled via iPhone or iPad, the Sphero is a fast-moving ball that reaches speeds of up to seven feet per second and shines with multicolor LEDs. It’s guaranteed to annoy any grandparent, but your kids will love it. So will your husband, probably ($129.95 / €129.95).

Hardcore gaming, telepresence, Barbie dolls

For the gamers in your family, the SteelSeries Stratus XL Wireless Gaming Controller should make for an awesome present. It’s compatible with every gamepad-enabled title on the App Store and has pressure-sensitive buttons, left and right analog triggers, and an ergonomic design. Extra points for combining features from the Xbox One and PS4 controllers ($69.95 / €69.95).

A less traditional gift can be the Double Telepresence Robot, which upgrades your video calls by placing the iPad on a mobile base (essentially a Segway). Only $2,499.95 / €2,499.95 for those who can see the true value in this product.

Believe it or not, Apple also sells Barbie dolls:

“The Barbie Fashion Design Maker gives you the power to design, using the free app on your iPad. Follow a few easy steps to transform your 2D fashion idea into a real, 3D, wearable look. Then showcase it on the included Barbie doll or within the enclosed portfolio,” reads the description ($49.95 / €49.95).

No more fooling around

Toys are toys even when they sell in the hundreds of dollars. Case in point, if anyone in your family loves to shoot high-def video, you should have no problem winning over their hearts with the GoPro HERO4 Silver Edition Camera ($399.95 / €399.95).

GoPro HERO4 is the first GoPro camera to feature a touchscreen. It lets you record video in 1080p at 60 frames per second, or 720p at 120 fps. Photos are captured at 12MP and the thing is waterproof up to 40 meters. In the box, you’ll find the GoPro HERO4 Silver camera, standard housing, skeleton + touch backdoors, a rechargeable battery, a curved adhesive mount, a flat adhesive mount, quick-release buckles, a 3-way pivot arm, and the much needed USB cable to transfer all your recordings to other devices.

There’s an endless list of gifts you can get for your loved ones on the Apple Store this winter, so don’t hesitate to browse the venue and make your pick. Don’t stall, Christmas is just around the corner and shipping is always a matter of concern.
