The feature wasn't included in these particular smartphones

Android offers users a unique feature that allows smartphone users to add multiple accounts on their devices. The feature is called Guest Mode and is not something new since it was included in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

However, Guest Mode was originally made available on tablets and it's been brought to smartphones along with Android 5.0 Lollipop platform launched late last year.

Unfortunately for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge owners, Samsung did not include Guest Mode in its flagship smartphones. The reasons are unknown, but they might not really matter soon.

According to a new report from SamMobile, Android 5.1 Lollipop will bring the long-awaited Guest Mode to Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

The update should arrive on both phones very soon

If Guest Mode will indeed be added to Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge flagships, then owners will be able to enable it by swiping down from the top screen to pull down the notifications bar and then tap on the avatar on the top right twice.

In the next window, you will be presented with three options: Google account, Add guest and Add users. You should choose Add guest, so you can switch to Guest Mode.

Keep in mind though that it might take some time for the Guest Mode to be enabled and the smartphone might be a bit slow initially. Still, your Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge should work well a few minutes after enabling Guest Mode.

If you want, you can revert to your Google account when you have finished using Guest Mode. You will only need to follow the same steps mentioned earlier, assuming that Samsung will make the new feature available just like in most other Android smartphones.

In case you can't find the Guest Mode following the guide above, you should check for it by heading to Settings / General / Privacy / Guest Mode.
