It's not every man's dream to be bossed around at work by his wife, but that's exactly what Brad Pitt had to endure for the last couple of months when he agreed to star in the Angelina Jolie-written and directed movie, “By the Sea,” a love story taking place in the ‘70s.

There are few couples in Hollywood that have managed to work together as director and actor and put out a decent film without divorcing, but it looks as if Brad and Angie have found the winning ticket, at least based on what Jolie says in a recent interview.

Angelina thinks directing Brad on a movie brought them closer together, made their marriage stronger

Speaking with Channel 4 News, Angelina said that “It [was] uncomfortable but we've already shot it, we've survived it and we're stronger for it. It was very touch material, so for actors it was heavy dramatic emotional work.”

The fact that the couple was at the beginning of their marriage, since they wed in secret some time ago in France, might have helped them overcome their problems, but when you take into consideration the fact that they've been together since 2005 means that they're not new lovers at all.

In fact, Jolie notes on the fact that she and Brad are friends first and foremost and that has helped them overcome many adversities because they support each other. She points that they looked out for each other's interests while shooting the film, she of his acting skills and he of her directing skills.

Yesterday, the press said Angie and Brad had a massive blowout in Australia

But it's not all rainbows and butterflies for the couple as just yesterday a report in Australian media spoke of Angelina and Brad having a massive row on the balcony of their hotel room in Sydney, right before the red carpet premiere of her latest film “Unbroken.”

The actors were flailing their arms around and shouting at each other and were captured on video and they seemed to have a blowout over some unknown matter. Later, during the red carpet premiere, they were said to be distant towards each other, and spent most of the time apart.

Jolie is now in the UK premiering her movie about the WWII POW Louis Zamperini, a former Olympic track runner who gets captured and is forced to endure torture and other harrowing hardships.

When asked about how she likes it in England, Angelina confessed that she feels quite comfortable and that she even considers purchasing a home in country to help her when she's traveling around Europe. The only thing that would deter her buying an English home is the fact that the local government has recently introduced a mansion tax for homes that exceed a certain value.
