It a war of toys, or action figures to be more precise. Toy store giant Toys R Us have recently launched a collection of “Breaking Bad” action figures, based on the characters portrayed in the drama series on ABC bearing the same title, but not all parents were happy about it.

Yesterday, in the news a report popped up about a woman that was so enraged at the toys being sold in the store that she set up an online petition to have them removed. By today, Toys R Us had made the announcement that they were withdrawing the action figures from its shelves.

Aaron Paul hits back at Florida Mom petition to have their toys removed from Toys R Us

Aaron Paul, one of the actors in the original show, was shocked to find out that the toys were removed after one mother, who called herself Florida Mom, had complained, and took to Twitter to express his frustration.

“Wait, so @ToysRUs pulled all of the Breaking Bad figures from their shelves and still sells Barbie? Hmmmm…I wonder what is more damaging?” Aaron said, clearly not happy with the way had turned out.

In a later tweet, he added “And what about all of the violent video games you sell @ToysRUs ? Do you still sell those? Florida mom really messed it up for everyone.”

He is referring to Susan Myers, who is the one who started the petition to have the action figures removed. In her complaint, she pointed out that the store made a mistake when they decided to stock the toys which came “complete with a detachable sack of cash and a bag of meth.”

Her argument was that the toys were a “dangerous deviation from [the retailer's] family friendly values.” Her point quickly made its way to the store's management which pulled the toys fast from their shelves, as the petition drew over 9000 signatures in the course of several days.

Bryan Cranston wasn't too happy about the toys either

For Paul, the news did not come lightly, and he also got some help from his “Breaking Bad” co-star, Bryan Cranston, who also decided to blast Toys R Us for their decision. He jokingly tweeted, “Florida mom petitions against Toys 'R Us over Breaking Bad action figures." I'm so mad, I'm burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest.”

Then he added with the same joking tone, “Toys R Us puts Breaking Bad toys on 'indefinite sabbatical.' Word on the street is that they were sent to Belize. Nicely played Florida Mom.”

To show that he was serious, Aaron Paul actually helped set up his own petition to have the decision reversed and invited all of his followers to sign it in order to keep the toys in sale.

The petition was called “We are the ones who KNOCK!! (sic)” and the funny thing is it managed to get over 17,000 signatures, almost twice as much as Florida Mom's petition managed to get in the first place.

It is expected that Toys R Us will reverse their decision and begin selling “Breaking Bad” action figures again shortly.
