ASUS has rolled out a new firmware update developed for its RT-N14UHP wireless router, namely version 3.0.0.4.376.2671, which upgrades the OpenSSL library from 1.0.0d to 1.0.0m, and includes a few other changes.

Specifically speaking, this new release allows the system status to display CPU and RAM usage, the client status to display wireless signal strength, as well as users to change the client icon at their will.

In addition to that, the parental control, QoS, manually assigned IP, static route, and port forwarding client list will still refer to the client name even if it is modified by the owner.

As for applying this update, first check the currently installed firmware version and make sure it isn’t either newer or matching this release, and if all is ok, save and extract the downloadable archive on your desktop.

Now connect the router and the computer using an Ethernet cable as this connection type will ensure a greater safety level, and go to the Firmware Upgrade section on the device’s administration page.

From there, select to upload the newly extracted .trx file to the router, and when the transfer has finished, allow the device to apply the new update.

That being said, download ASUS RT-N14UHP Router Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2671, take into account all aforementioned aspects, upgrade your device and enjoy the new changes that the present release brings about.
