Developer Gust and publisher Koei Tecmo have just released the launch trailer for Atelier Ayesha Plus, showing what players can expect from the enhanced port.

Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk was initially released on the PlayStation 3 home entertainment system from Sony back in 2012 (2013 in North America and Europe), and Gust decided to port it for the PlayStation Vita handheld.

The Japanese role-playing game series is a highly popular one, and Atelier Ayesha follows the story of a young girl, Ayesha Altugle, struggling in a decaying world, and trying to run her herbalist workshop as best she can.

The Dusk World is on the verge of ruin, fallen from the former glory of its civilizations. The storyline follows Ayesha as she seeks to find and save her lost younger sister Nio.

The PlayStation Vita version of the title comes with a dual audio track, featuring both Japanese and English voiceover, as well as new bosses, new costumes, a Hard mode and some special Album missions, through which gamers will be able to gain access to exclusive content.

Atelier Ayesha Plus is available on the PlayStation Store, exclusively for the PlayStation Vita handheld gaming device, and players who download it until February 10 can also snag a neat bonus costume bundle.
