This week, the review department of Softpedia Games is delivering long-form evaluations for Sunset Overdrive, the big Xbox One exclusive from Insomniac Games that has some interesting ideas about gameplay, the Art of War expansion for Europa Universalis IVMinutes and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The most relevant news of the week

On Monday, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was at the center of the news cycle and we learned that the zombie mode that was long rumored would be offered via the Season Pass, while those installing the game on the Xbox One reported problems.

At the same time, an official announcement explained that the resolution on the Microsoft console was 1360x1080.

On Tuesday, Rockstar revealed that a special soundtrack package for GTA V would be offered on both vinyl and CD in December, Microsoft talked about the future of firmware updates for the Xbox One, and Sony revealed that the PlayStation Plus service attracted a lot of users.

On Wednesday, Sony delivered a new firmware update for the PlayStation 4 in order to eliminate some new rest mode problems that the community had been reporting, and Sledgehammer Games talked a lot about the improvements introduced in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

On Thursday, Rockstar offered more details about the first-person action mode which is included in the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V and Microsoft listed all the major changes that it made to its new console since it was launched.

On Friday, 16 free pieces of downloadable content were revealed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the reasons for the lack of compatibility between Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Share Play were revealed by the involved companies.

Finally, on Saturday, a full list of major changes for the current-gen and the PC version of GTA V was announced and Blizzard revealed that it was working on a new team-based first-person shooter called Overwatch, which is coming in 2015.
