This week, the review section of Softpedia Games is delivering long-form evaluations for the following titles: Homeworld Remastered Collection, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, Republique Remastered, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and Oddworld New'n'Tasty.

From Monday to Saturday

On Monday, Civilization: Beyond Earth revealed its winter update, Microsoft talked about the innovation of Halo 5: Guardians, and Nintendo explained how The Legend of Zelda would test the limits of the Wii U.

On Tuesday, Valve announced that it would have a virtual reality device present at GDC and Sony launched a new firmware upgrade for the PlayStation 3, as more info about Just Cause 3 appeared.

On Wednesday, Bungie finally deployed the Destiny update 1.1.1, a new trailer was shown for Batman Arkham Knight and an official announcement was made about the launch of Neverwinter on the Xbox One.

On Thursday, Microsoft implemented a temporary price cut for the Xbox Live Gold, Fable Legends was revealed as being a free-to-play title, and a new study revealed some of the reasons gamers cite for picking the PlayStation 4 over the Xbox One.

On Friday, Bungie announced that a new mode called Inferno and focused on PvP would arrive for Destiny on March 3 and NetherRealms delivered a big video for Mortal Kombat X showing some of the included Brutalities.

Finally, on Saturday, Evolve received a patch on the Xbox One to eliminate problems with saves and progress and From Software revealed the new Darkbeast boss for Bloodborne.
