Today, Opera Software had the great pleasure of announcing the immediate availability for download of the Opera 29 web browser for computers and mobile devices, including GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Android.

Opera 29 was moved on April 28 from the Beta stages of development to the Stable channel, available right now worldwide. Prominent features include tab synchronization, customizable keyboard shortcuts, new audio indicator, more mouse gestures, integrated history on the start page, and centered standalone images.

"With the release of Opera 29 today, we bring you tab synchronization, which works both in Opera 29 for computers and the latest version of Opera for Android," says Zhenis, Opera Software’s product manager of Desktop Products.

Here's how the tab synchronization works in Opera 29

As Opera 29's best new feature is tab synchronization, we will explain a little how it works. But first, we should mention that the tab sync functionality is now implemented in both the desktop and mobile versions of the software, allowing you to continue your Web browsing sessions from one device to another.

To enable the tab sync function after installing Opera 29 on your desktop computer or mobile phone, you must create a free Opera account or sign in into an existing one by clicking the profile icon next to the URL address field.

Then, you can immediately access the tabs opened on other devices where you are logged in with the same Opera account by clicking on the Tabs button in the revamped start page. Speed Dial entries will also be synced.

Download Opera 29 for Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows right now via Softpedia or from the Opera Software website. Additionally, you can get Opera 29 for Android from the Google Play store.
