The development team at Blizzard is delivering yet another long gameplay video for the upcoming Overwatch title, with gamers able to take a look at McCree as he goes through a match, with his style and his abilities on full display.

The company says that the footage is not edited in any way and has been taken from the PC running at 60 frames per second.

Blizzard adds, "McCree is on the attack in Watchpoint: Gibraltar, a Payload map set in an abandoned Overwatch outpost perched above the Mediterranean Sea."

The character has a classic six-shooter revolver called The Peacekeeper, which can be used to quickly deliver its entire payload against one enemy, and a combat roll is included so that gamers can move towards a target while also loading their weapon.

McCree also equips a flashbang, which can be used to stagger enemy and gives the character a chance to take them out quickly.

The Ultimate Ability for the new Overwatch character is called Deadeye and will give him a chance to attack every enemy in his line of sight.

Overwatch is the most recent project from Blizzard

The company says the game is designed to introduce a set of simple mechanics, allowing the company to attract a wide number of players.

Each character will have a unique play style and gamers will be encouraged to work together to take out the most capable enemies.

Overwatch has been described as a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena title played from a first-person perspective, but the complexity level is designed to make it familiar to as many players as possible.

A beta stage for Overwatch is set to start in the fall, offering access to a small number of both weapons and characters.

Three maps have been shown so far, and there are two modes that gamers will be able to try out, both of them focused on teams of six players that need to defeat each other.

Blizzard says that it has not decided yet what business model it will use for Overwatch, but it is very likely that the core experience will be free-to-play, with cosmetic enhancements offered for those who are willing to pay.
