Canonical confirmed a few minutes ago on their Twitter and Facebook accounts that a new flash sale of the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition smartphone will take place tomorrow morning, on March 26, starting 9 AM CET (Central European Time). BQ already started shipping the Ubuntu phones to users from the European Union, so it should arrive quickly this time.

This would be the fifth flash sale of the BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition phone, so this is the perfect time to get yours if you didn’t have the chance to do so until now. The phone is currently sold only in the European Union, so make sure that you check the BQ website first to see if they ship in your country.

BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition is a pretty cool smartphone device that boasts a Quad Core Cortex A7 processor running at 1.3 GHz, 1GB RAM, a qHD 4.5-inch display with a 960x540 resolution, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, as well as a 2150 mAh Li-ion battery. The device costs €169 ($185) without shipping and packaging.

How to buy an Ubuntu Phone from BQ

Many users who didn’t have the chance to buy an Ubuntu phone device from BQ asked us to write a quick tutorial with some basic instructions on how to successfully purchase the smartphone. So here it is, folks!

First, make sure that you create an account on the BQ Online Store. The registration is free and painless, but after signing in into your new BQ account, make sure that you edit your details, such as shipping address, billing address (if different from shipping address), full name, etc.

The flash sale starts on 9 AM CET (Central European Time), which means 8 AM GMT, so make sure that you know exactly what time it is before the flash sale starts. With a few minutes before the flash sale begins, login into your BQ account and wait for the device to become available. Click the big “Purchase” button and proceed to checkout, where it is advised to use PayPal.
