14 DAY TRIAL // Rumor has it that the first footage from Zack Snyder’s upcoming “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released wide in theaters with the film “Jupiter Ascending,” and that this teaser may or may not be the one that played at San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
“Jupiter” opens in the US on February 5, so until then, here’s something new about the hotly anticipated film: a fresh promo shot, of Ben Affleck in character, as Batman.
So far, we’ve only had one image of Ben as Batman, aka Batfleck, the one released in May 2014 (see the gallery below), showing a very sad Batfleck standing by his Batmobile.
Well, Batfleck is just as sad in this new picture, but at least he’s shown from a different angle. It was obtained by JoBlo after it was released at the Hong Kong International Licensing Show. It also shows Superman and Wonder Woman next to Batman, but theirs are shots that have already been released to the wide public.
“Dawn of Justice” will be out in March 2016 and will mark the first time ever that Batman and Superman share the same screen, while also being the big screen debut for Wonder Woman, years after the initial plan to bring her story into theaters.
It stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, but also Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg. Zack Snyder, who directed the Superman reboot “Man of Steel,” returns at the helm, as also does Christopher Nolan as producer.
