Five ways to play and multiple storylines are coming

A brand-new leak with details and even a release date for the upcoming Need for Speed reboot has just appeared online, via Microsoft's online store, which confirms that there will be multiple overlapping stories and gameplay styles in the racing game when it launches on November 3.

The Need for Speed series has been around for over 20 years, and throughout the times, publisher Electronic Arts has released plenty of different experiences in the racing genre.

Unfortunately for fans, recent entries haven't exactly reached the same level of popularity as older installments, so EA decided to give studio Ghost Games an extra year of development time, so that the team can make ensure that the next title delights.

The two companies revealed earlier this month the Need for Speed reboot, which kicks off a new stage for the series, while borrowing features from past titles like NFS: Underground. Unfortunately, besides a brief trailer with in-game footage, not much else was revealed.

Lots of details and even a release date are now available

Now, however, it seems that Microsoft's Xbox website has once again decided to leak some information earlier than expected.

More specifically, the game's listing for the Xbox One is available, at least for now, alongside an in-depth description and a November 3 release date.

In terms of actual details, the new Need for Speed has five unique ways to play and win, ranging from Speed to Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw. Depending on your play style, you'll earn reputation and advance through the multiple overlapping stories.

The city in which the game takes place is a fictional Californian one called Ventura Bay that features a complex downtown, an epic harbor, and even a few canyons for drifting.

Last but not least, the customization mechanics allow players to modify their cars both in terms of visuals and performance in extensive ways.

Expect to hear more from Electronic Arts and Ghost Games in the following weeks, most probably at E3 2015 in early June.
