Video game developer EA Sports announces that at the moment it plans to deliver both a trial and a demo for its upcoming NBA Live 15 in order to show fans of the basketball simulation genre what the title has to offer in terms of gameplay.

Those who subscribe to the EA Access service on the Xbox One will be able to experience six hours of the title starting October 23 and the version that will be offered to them includes all the features.

All their stats and their progress will then be moved to the full version of NBA Live 15 as soon as they buy it, and the fact that they have access to the Electronic Arts service means they can pick it up with a price cut.

The same full six-hour trial for the basketball sim will be offered to all gamers who have an Xbox One on October 28, which is a good way to show them the main mechanics of the title and give them enough data to make a choice between the EA Sports experience and NBA 2K15.

The company adds in the announcement that "PlayStation 4 hoopsters will have access to a classic game demo beginning on October 28. The demo includes a Finals Atmosphere Cleveland vs. Oklahoma City matchup with five-minute quarters. Ballers can also play through the Adidas Learn Live Tutorial featuring Damian Lillard."

For the demo, progress is not transferred to the full version.

NBA Live 15 is a restart for the entire franchise

NBA Live 15 is designed to wipe away bad memories that fans of the franchise might have after the low quality installments of the past few years and to convince them that the series still has a lot to offer.

The studio has worked on both the defensive and the offensive aspects in order to improve the way players respond to commands coming from the gamer and to make sure that they behave as close to the real world as possible.

The company has also put a lot of work into making sure that ratings for the most important players from the NBA are carefully correlated with their actual performance.

NBA Live 15 is a restart of sorts for the entire series, and EA Sports says that it plans to continue to devote resources to the experience in order to improve it after it is launched on October 28.
