Beginning later this week, customers will be able to grab the Moto E (2015) for just $130 outright via Cricket's online and brick and mortar stores.

Keep in mind that Cricket is going to offer the 4G LTE version of Moto E (2015), which makes the price even more tempting.

Cricket has also announced that for a limited time customers willing to switch from T-Mobile, Metro-PCS, Sprint and Boost, as well as those who select the $50 or $60 rate plan, are eligible for 1 free month of service after completing two months on the Smart, Pro or Advanced plan.

A Lollipop smartphone with 4G LTE support

For those out of the loop, Motorola Moto E (2015) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box and packs a decent 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

The smartphone sports a scratch-resistant 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels) and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

The Moto E (2015) has a 5-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus and HD (720p) video recording, but lacks LED flash. In the front, there's a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

Motorola's affordable smartphone packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On top of that, the Moto E (2015) drains energy from a 2390 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated.
