If we’re to believe the tabloids and celebrity bloggers, Patrick Schwarzenegger partied like crazy over spring break in Cabo and cheated on girlfriend Miley Cyrus, and was then busted on camera. He’s now back in LA with her and they’re trying to work it all out.

Miley did not break up with him when she saw photos of him doing body shots off some girl, but she’s not exactly ready to turn a blind eye to what happened either.

Miley and Patrick do sushi dinner together, might make it as a couple

Us Weekly reports that, shortly after Patrick was reunited with Miley in Los Angeles, they went out for a sushi dinner at Kiwami in LA’s Studio City, which is proof that she did not dump him in the aftermath of the cheating scandal, as some media outlets said she did.

Eyewitnesses say that they came and left alone, and that they spent about an hour on the patio, talking. They didn’t seem particularly lovey-dovey, but the mere fact that they stepped out for a dinner date is a sign that Miley wants to believe Patrick when he tells her he didn’t cheat on her.

Sources reveal for People magazine that the pop star wants the relationship to work, but she can’t get over the embarrassment that those photos with Patrick caused.

“Miley is embarrassed about the photos and Patrick is devastated about that because he really cares about her,” says a spy. “They've been talking and are going through a tough time. He didn't cheat or kiss anyone but she's still not happy about the photos.”

Things were going so well before the scandal

Patrick and Miley dated briefly before last year, when they reconnected and rekindled the spark. In November 2014, after some speculation on whether they were a couple again, they made their first public outing as a couple: Miley accompanied him to a game, and they made sure to kiss in front of the cameras.

Just shortly before the photos of Patrick and the mystery brunette in Cabo, he and Miley had been photographed out to dinner with his mother, Maria Shriver, which prompted a lot of talk about how they were thinking of taking the relationship to the next level.

Now that they were photographed out to dinner, it could be that the wedding is back on, voices online are saying.
