A new trailer for Volume has popped up on the Internet, showing what Andy Serkis sounds like playing the bad guy.

Mike Bithell, the famed maker of Thomas Was Alone, is working on a futuristic stealth game based on the timeless story of Robin Hood, challenging gamers to avoid guards and steal stuff in a polygon-laden environment.

The top-down strategy game has minimalist visuals and intriguing gameplay, with various AI behaviors influencing the way players travel through the levels in order to avoid detection, as evidenced in the video below.

The clip shows how the enemies in Volume work, from the relentless Pawn and all-seeing turrets to the stealthy rogue and deadly archer.

The trailer reveals a bit of seemingly confusing gameplay, highlighting the way different enemies interact within the game world and showing how you have to deal with their particularities.

Famed actor Andy Serkis is lending his voice to the game's antagonist, the shady CEO of a massive corporation, Guy Gisborne.

Danny Wallace, the acclaimed actor who provided Thomas Was Alone's narration, is also returning to play Rob's AI companion, delivering helpful hints and aiding him in his pursuits.

Volume is expected to come to PC later this year.
