14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just announced that the first Xbox One system update of 2015 is now available for download. The main highlights of the update are controller and stability improvements, Game hubs, Quick Connect and TV updates.
This seems to be one of the more consistent Xbox One updates released by Microsoft since it brings lots of new features and improvements.
According to the official changelog, the update should greatly improve stability and speed on the Xbox One controller by providing a number of fixes that address the controller's disconnect issues.
This particular update must be downloaded by pressing the Menu and heading to Settings / Device & accessories and selecting the controller. Then, simply select Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable.
The Xbox One update should add Game hubs, the place where you can learn about new content, tips and tricks for some of the most popular titles.

Each Xbox One game will have a game hub where owners will be able to see which friends are playing the game, compete with them in game leaderboards or follow the game's video creators.
In order to add a game hub for your favorite game, you have to head to My games and apps and press the Menu button. Then, simply select View game hub.
The update also brings some changes to party chat such as improved connectivity between multiple participants with Strict or Moderate NATs, performance improvements and new icons for chat connection status that allows players to know the status of a chat connection in their party.
Microsoft also added tile transparency to the Home tiles in order to make the background images more visible. To set a custom background, simply go to Settings / My Xbox / My background.
