Microsoft is apparently going to focus even harder on promoting games at the upcoming edition of the E3 convention, promising to make Xbox One owners really happy with the investment they made.

Xbox's head of marketing, Aaron Greenberg, made a bunch of interesting reveals during a recent interview in the latest Inner Circle Podcast, stating that Microsoft would once again have a strong presence at the trade show, and that there are a ton of surprises in store for those who follow the expo.

During the interview, Greenberg compared E3 to the Super Bowl, saying that everyone is always debating how much they should reveal before the trade show, because it's a really special moment each and every time.

The executive stated that gamers would be really happy with what the company has in store for the show, with a lot of great reveals planned, and was confident that Microsoft's presentation would even manage to bring some new players to the platform.

Greenberg also teased us, saying that fans of the show and Microsoft's products should expect something slightly different this year, as the company is working on a different approach to the show.

This year's E3 should be very exciting

"We're already working and and my teams actually driving a lot of the work there in close partnership with our other internal teams and we feel really good about this year. We have some ideas to some things different at E3 this year that we haven't done before so wait until we're really ready to fully show that but I think we're gonna take a little bit of a different approach to E3 this year and I feel really excited about it," Greenberg stated.

Microsoft was criticized in the past for trying to push gamers down various other entertainment avenues during E3, which is primarily a gaming trade show, and it seems that the company is really taking the feedback to heart.

Last year's press conference saw Microsoft focus on gaming and the Xbox One home entertainment system, with a ton of exciting reveals, among which plenty of Xbox exclusives like Dance Central, Phantom Dust, Crackdown, and Scalebound, as well as the introduction of Rise of the Tomb Raider and Ori and the Blind Forest.
