As we’ve reported to you in the last couple of days, Microsoft was working on two new limited-edition Lumia phones that are specifically addressed to those who are looking for a Windows Phone that’s a bit more exquisite, so today the company has officially introduced the new Lumia 930 and Lumia 830 Gold Editions.

Both phones come with the exact same technical specifications as the original models, but they also have a premium gold finish that makes them a bit more appealing to the eye.

Both models will be available in either black or white, and according to Microsoft, sales should begin soon in Europe, Asia Pacific and China, and India, the Middle East and Africa.

As far as pricing is concerned, it’s not too different as compared to the original models, the company says, but it will vary based on country and operator.

Same technical specs

Obviously, both are running Windows Phone 8.1 and are upgradable to Windows Phone 10, as Microsoft says that all current Lumia devices will be able to run its new operating system version when it becomes available.

Spec-wise, the Lumia 930 comes with a 5-inch display, a 20-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage, while the 830 boasts 16 GB of space, 1 GB of RAM, and a 10-megapixel camera. A 5-inch display with Glance Screen support is also available on the Lumia 830.

Both devices were tested by Softpedia, so you can read the Lumia 830 review and the Lumia 930 in-depth testing by clicking on these links.
