The deal is only available today, December 10

Microsoft kicked off its “12 Days of Deals” promotion a few days ago. On each of the next 12 days, the Redmond-based company would reveal a new offer, which will only last for a day.

After successfully selling a notebook and a Windows Phone handset in the first two days of the promo, Microsoft has taken the wraps off the third day deal.

This deal is aimed at gamers, console gamers to be more precise. It's also a good time for those who always wanted to own Microsoft's Xbox One console, but couldn't afford it or did not want to pay the full price.

Well, starting December 10 until the end of the day, Microsoft is selling the Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle for just $349 (€280), which means customers will save $50 (€40) from the console's suggested retail price.

Apart from the nice discount, those who decide to go for the deal should know that the bundle includes two Ubisoft games: Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. A wireless controller and a chat headset are included in the bundle as well.

The games included in the bundle aren't physical versions, so you'll have to download them

Both are digital games, so expect to get reedemable codes instead of discs. Still, two games and a $50 (€40) discount make a great deal for those who missed Microsoft's Black Friday deal.

Late last month, Xbox One bundle with 3 games was available for just $329 (€265), thus it was a better deal than today's Assassin's Creed Unity bundle.

The only real downside would be the fact that both games included in the package are digital, which means it will take quite a long time to download and install them on the console.

Assassin's Creed Unity is about 50GB in size, while Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has around 25GB, so unless your Internet connection is great, then you're in for a very long wait.

Since we're at the beginning of the Holiday season sales, there will be more deals of this kind by the end of the year and some may be even better than the one revealed by Microsoft today, so it's up to each and every one to decide whether to go for it now or wait for a better one.

In case you know nothing of Assassin's Creed franchise (really?), then we'd suggest taking a look at our Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Unity reviews. You might find them to your liking and take advantage of the current deal.

Once again, keep in mind that Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle is available at Microsoft Store for just one day, December 10, 8AM EST.
