Microsoft has yet to announce the upcoming availability of Lumia 435 in the United State, but major carrier T-Mobile has just listed the affordable Windows Phone handset on its website.

The Lumia 435 is Microsoft's cheapest Windows Phone handset available on the market, so we expect it to be very popular in the United States.

In fact, considering the smartphone costs only $75 (€70) outright, the Lumia 435 should sell like hotcakes anywhere in the world.

T-Mobile has yet to announce the price tag of Lumia 435 and its release date, but since the smartphone is now listed on the carrier's website, it shouldn't take long to hit shelves.

Microsoft Lumia 435 will ship with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system right out of the box. Unlike Lumia 640 that comes with GDR2 on board, the Lumia 435 doesn't feature the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1.

It's also unclear whether or not Microsoft will offer a Windows 10 Mobile upgrade for the Lumia 435, considering the fact that this is the cheapest Windows Phone handset, hence it comes with the lowest specs.

The entry-level smartphone will be available for $0 down on contract

Speaking of which, Lumia 435 sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports a 480 x 800 pixels resolution. In addition, the smartphone packs a disappointing 2-megapixel camera on the back, along with an even lower VGA camera on the front.

On the inside, Microsoft's entry-level smartphone is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapadragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

The Lumia 435 does not provide LTE support but offers other decent connectivity features, including 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS with AGPS support, and microUSB 2.0.

It's also worth mentioning that the Windows Phone handset is powered by a 1,560mAh battery and it will feature Wi-Fi calling thanks to T-Mobile.
