Microsoft has just revealed its official plans for the upcoming E3 2015 event, confirming that not only will it hold a special press briefing on June 15, one day ahead of the start of the conference, but also that it will bring live shows and other fan-centered activities.

E3 2015 is rapidly approaching, as the large gaming-focused conference is set to open its doors on June 16 in Los Angeles. As always, all of the biggest companies in the industry have confirmed their plans for the event, ranging from large hardware makers like Sony or Nintendo to third-party publishers like Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, or Bethesda.

Microsoft is bringing different activities to E3 2015

After we saw Nintendo's big plans yesterday, Microsoft has just shared all the details about its own E3 2015 schedule via the Xbox Wire.

First up, the large corporation will hold its traditional press briefing on Monday, June 15, starting at 9:30am PDT. During the briefing, the company pledges to provide in-depth looks at already announced games, not to mention trailers for unannounced experiences set to appear in 2015 and beyond.

The press event will be live streamed on the official website, but also on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles, not to mention the Windows Phone platform. Those in North America can also catch it on SpikeTV.

During the actual show, the Xbox Daily: Live @ E3 activity is making a comeback. It entails live demonstrations of upcoming games, plus more announcements and conversations with developers from Microsoft, as well as from its internal teams like 343 Industries or Turn 10 Studios. The show takes place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 4 to 5pm PDT. It will also be live streamed on all available platforms.

Last but not least, Xbox fans in Los Angeles can enter a contest to win a ticket to the Xbox FanFest festival, which includes access to the aforementioned press briefing, but also to special parties and celebrations with Microsoft and its development partners.
