It looks like rumors have been confirmed and Microsoft announced that players would be able to stream Xbox One exclusive games to any Windows 10 PC and tablet.

Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed the information during the Windows 10 event. Furthermore, he announced that an Xbox application would bring friend list, comments, and would group Xbox and Steam games together.

Developer Lionhead also demoed Fable Legends on the stage and the cross-platform play between PC and Xbox One. Streaming Xbox One exclusives to any Windows 10 PC or tablet will be possible as well.

The whole process of streaming will be done through Wi-Fi connection, which is associated with your Microsoft devices powered by Windows 10. You will be using the Xbox One pad to control the gameplay streamed over the Wi-Fi.

However, before being able to stream Xbox One games to PC, you will have to set up the connection between your devices. This will be done only once, so the next time you'll be streaming, you won't need to make any additional settings.

As soon as the connection between the two devices is set, players can access Xbox One game on their Windows 10 PC through the special Xbox application announced today.

Multiplayer modes for some Xbox One games will connect with Windows 10 devices

Moreover, Phil Spencer also stated that mutliplayer modes for some Xbox One exclusives would connect with Windows 10 devices, "We think enabling people to play multiplayer games on Windows 10, across Xbox One and Windows 10 will unlock the potential of Xbox Live."

It remains to be seen whether or not Microsoft will enable cross-platform multiplayer gameplay between Xbox One and PC, because we're no sure how many Xbox One players will want to play against PC gamers.
