Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is coming soon to the PC platform, and publisher Konami confirms that its framerate is locked at 60fps and that controllers will be supported in different ways besides the regular mouse and keyboard option.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes piqued the interest of many franchise fans when it appeared this spring on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The title, coming from creator Hideo Kojima, together with his team at Kojima Productions and Konami, introduced the new Fox Engine as well as a different plot thread that will be resolved in the full-fledged Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain in 2015.

Now, the two companies are working to bring the current game to the PC and have just made a few announcements concerning the game's framerate and its controller support.

First up, it seems that the framerate is locked at a 60fps value, meaning that players with faster displays won't be able to turn it up higher than that, at least from the regular options, according to the announcement.

Besides the mouse and keyboard control option, the game also supports a variety of controllers on the PC, with four different button layouts. While it can be played with the likes of the DualShock 4 or 3 controllers from Sony, the in-game prompts are from the Xbox devices.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes arrives on PC on December 18.
