14 DAY TRIAL // The National Football League season is now done, but the development team at EA Sports continues to deliver new content for Madden NFL 15 in order to make sure that fans of the sim have new experiences to enjoy.
A new major update for the Ultimate Team mode is now detailed on the official blog of the game, offering info on the way the new post-season will challenge players and will deliver a range of new challenges and options.
Final Edition for Madden NFL 15 has already been revealed and allows players to get access to new versions of players who have performed well for their teams but did not receive too much recognition from fans or commentators.
There are also new cards for Ultimate Team which celebrate the best performers of the NFL Combine draft, both past and present.
EA Sports explains, "New Combine Warrior player items will be offered in packs, but each player is available for only one week. This edition of each Combine Warrior has an OVR of 80. There will be a series of Attribute Collectibles, also found in packs. These are themed by the attributes that are important to NFL scouts, coaches, and MUT players such as Speed, Agility, Juke Move, Catching, Man Coverage, and more."
Ultimate Team is also getting a new Gauntlet mode
Madden NFL 15 gamers can also now test their skills on the new Gauntlet, which has challenges for each team in the NFL and offers a Ultimate Master Collectible for top performers.
The game is also receiving a new range of Flashbacks, elite players who have left their original teams, including Dwight Freeney, Karl Mecklenburg, Adrian Wilson and Greg Jennings.
There are also changes to get players from Madden Ultimate Team 25, including NaVorro Bowman, Randall Cunningham, Robert Mathis, Victor Cruz and Andre Johnson.
The post-season for Ultimate Team in Madden NFL 15 offers a lot of opportunities for dedicated players, as the developers try to make sure that the absence of live games does not reduce engagement with the title.
Gamers can also expect to see more competition announcements in the coming weeks.
A new Madden title will probably be officially announced before the start of the E3 2015 event in June.
