The Duracell team that will take on regular fans of Madden NFL 15 is made up of legends of the sport.

The official site offers gamers access to a full breakdown of the rules for the Duracell Longest Lasting Tournament and gives them a clear schedule for the time periods when they will be able to tackle their favorite players.

On Friday, the 4 – 8 PM Slot is occupied by Maurice Jones-Drew, while the 7 – 11 PM period is covered by Patrick Willis.

On Saturday, from 12 to 4 PM gamers will be able to play against Arian Foster.

The entire Duracell Longest Lasting Tournament will be broadcast on Twitch in order to allow the community to take a look at the Madden NFL 15 action on display.

The big prize is a pair of tickets for the February 1 set Super Bowl XLIX, but gamers can also earn cash, signed NFL gear, and Duracell-branded items.

Madden NFL 15 will soon be used to make a Super Bowl prediction

The EA Sports team has been known for the fact that each year it is using the engine of the Madden NFL series, complete with more statistical and player data than gamers have access to, to try and predict the results of the Super Bowl content.

Until then, fans of the sim will be able to get access to more Team of the Week packages for the Ultimate Team mode and presumably EA Sports is also planning some special events and card drops in order to make the biggest day of the NFL calendar and give its own players a reason to celebrate.
