Madden NFL  15 has proven how close a simulation can come to reality by accurately predicting the winner and the score of the most recent Super Bowl, and now the development team at EA Sports is trying its hand at a more complex exercise: the National Football League draft.

In two weeks, the teams will decide which newcomers they are interested in using in the coming season, and the video game creators have a full list of picks based on their engine.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will initially get Jameis Winston, the quarterback from Florida State.

The official site announcement explains that "Some doubts over Winston have resurfaced, but he still seems like a safe bet to stay in Florida and head to the Bucs. The former Heisman Trophy winner went 26-1 as a starter, and won the 2014 National Championship."

The Tennessee Titans will then get Leonard Williams, and for the third pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars will take on Dante Fowler from Florida.

The rest of the picks are: Oakland Raiders - Kevin White, Washington Redskins - Vic Beasley, New York Jets - Marcus Mariota, Chicago Bears - Danny Shelton, Atlanta Falcons - Shane Ray, New York Giants - Brandon Scherff, St. Louis Rams - Amari Cooper, Minnesota Vikings - Jalen Collins, Cleveland Browns - Devante Parker, New Orleans Saints - Randy Gregory, Miami Dolphins - Trae Waynes, San Francisco 49ers - Arik Armstead, Houston Texans - Malcolm Brown, San Diego Chargers - Melvin Gordon, Kansas City Chiefs - Dorial Green-Beckham, Cleveland Browns - Eddit Goldman, Philadelphia Eagles - Jake Fisher, Cincinnati Bengals - Andrus Peat, Pittsburgh Steelers - Landon Collins, Detroit Lions - D.J. Humphries, Arizona Cardinals - Todd Gurley, Carolina Panthers - T.J. Clemmings, Baltimore Ravens - La'El Collins, Dallas Cowboys - Carl Davis, Broncos - Cedric Ogbuehi, Colts - Jordan Phillips, Packers - Owamagbe Odighizuwa, Saints - Maxx Williams, Patriots - Ronal Darby.

It will be interesting to see how many of the predictions turn out to be right and how influential the new players will be for the future of their teams.

Madden NFL 15 is now focused on the Ultimate Team mode

EA Sports has not said whether it plans to introduce a full content pack for the American football simulation title that will feature the new players.

The developers have repeatedly said that they are aiming to improve the Ultimate Team mode as much as possible in the coming months.

New versions of players who have stood out during the previous season are being added weekly, and the studio is running regular events and promotions.

EA Sports is at the moment working on a new Madden NFL 16 title, which will be officially revealed in the coming weeks and will get more details during the E3 2015 event.
