Madden NFL 15 is becoming more important for the gaming community as the sport is heading to the Super Bowl XLIX and the team at EA Sports is ready to announce that it is introducing a Team of the Year package for the Ultimate Team mode for the first time in the history of the franchise.

The official announcement states that it “commemorates some of the most impressive players and stats from this season. Items ranging from 95 overall to 97 overall have been released into Packs. Compete against the TOTY in a MUT Solo Challenge and see if your squad can hang with the best.”

Fans of Madden NFL 15 can also look out for Plays of the Year Collectibles in packs in order to get access to a player from the Team of the Year.

The offensive of the TOTY line-up includes:

- Ben Roethlisberge from the Pittsburgh Steelers – leader of the NFP in passing yards with a 67 percent completion rate and 32 touchdowns created and just 9 interceptions - DeMarco Murray of the Fallas Cowboys – a leader when it comes to rushing yards and touchdowns - Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers – the best receiver at the moment - Jordy Nelson of the Green Bay Packers – who has 1,519 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns - Greg Olsen, playing for the Carolina Panthers – second in receiving yards and receptions when tight ends are taken into account - Jason Peters from the Philadelphia Eagles – who has given up three sacks and four quarterback hits - Clint Boling of the Cincinnati Bengals – only two sacks allowed in more than 950 plays - Travis Frederick, playing for the Dallas Cowboys – led his line as it gained 912 yards - Marshall Yanda from the Baltimore Ravens – one sack allowed in 1,000 plays - Sebasstian Volmer of the New England Patriots – who generated an average of 5.1 yards per carry when he was in the team
