Queen of Pop may even have a future in comedy, someday

Madonna stopped by Jimmy Fallon the other night to promote her newest album, “Rebel Heart,” and she unveiled a secret set of skills, or at least a secret hobby: stand-up comedy. Check out her debut in the video below.

Of course, the entire skit was planned in advance, because that’s how these things go: Madonna “casually” mentioned that she’d love to give it a try, and Fallon kindly offered to give her the chance, which she took.

She walked out and came back in, acting nervous, even though she’d asked her fans in the audience to laugh even if her jokes were bad, just to protect her ego. They kept their promise.

Madonna joked about her fancy house, which is apparently packed with Warhols and Picassos (not that’s she’s “bragging or anything”), and about her tendency to date only younger men. This seemed to make her more relatable to her fans, who appreciated her willingness to mock herself, thus make it impossible for the media and celebrity bloggers to do it.

Overall, Madonna’s fans believe, she’s a decent comedienne. Then again, in their eyes, she can do no wrong, so watch the video below and decide for yourself if she could ever cut it in this industry.
