Great for tournaments and gathering bragging rights

Game livestreaming is an activity more and more popular nowadays, and even if you don't show a game in real time, you can still have a lot of fun and get a lot of recognition by recording a session, editing it and posting it online.

There are various programs you can use to achieve this, but some makers of gaming hardware have their own, like MSI.

In fact, MSI has just revealed the XSplit V2 program, a piece of software that builds on the success of the first XSplit and adds some extra features.

XSplit V2 contains the Gamecaster mode, which allows you to share broadcast details via Facebook, Twitter and Google+, or receive notifications when you get a Twitch follower.

Speaking of Twitch, livestreaming is, naturally, still possible, and it's not restricted to that platform alone.

Express Video Editor is a new feature, according to the announcement. It allows you to assemble and edit recordings via the cut and stitch options. You can even rearrange the video timeline and trim them.

Image Overlay is another asset, as it allows you to add the clan tag and channel logo to a game.

The only drawback is that XSplit V2 isn't for free. Fortunately, if you already own version 1 you can upgrade for free. All MSI gaming products (like the new GeForce GTX 970 Golden Edition OC) will feature it as well.
