The Labyrinth of Time, an old first-person made by Terra Nova Development, has been published on Steam for Linux by Night Dive Studios.

The game was ported for the new platforms, including Linux by Wyrmkeep Entertainment. Players will find it very similar to other more famous titles like Myst or The 7th Guest, although it never quite managed to get the same attention.

"The legendary King Minos has commissioned a labyrinth bridging time and space. Once completed, this labyrinth, with doorways into all eras of history, will allow Minos to rule the Earth. You have been chosen as hero. Abruptly lifted from your routine existence, you have been dropped into a realm where time and space hang in check. Beware the future may not unfold in quite the way you have planned...," reads the Steam synopsis.

The levels are put together from 1800 high-resolution images and it will provide the gamers with hours of explorations and puzzles. The system requirements are also pretty small, which is understandable given the age of the game. Users will need Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, a 1.8 GHz CPU, 512 MB of RAM, a 100% OpenGL accelerated card, and 600 MB of available HDD space.

The Labyrinth of Time also has a 25% promotion that is scheduled to end on December 3.
