Both handsets have received some improvements too

Nokia 220 and Nokia 225 are two feature phones that were released back in February 2014. Both handsets have been pretty popular in emerging markets, which is probably one of the reasons Microsoft is still supporting these devices.

Many of you probably know that these two feature phones are running Nokia Series 30+ software, which contains quite a few interesting features and useful apps.

One of them was Nokia Xpress Browser, which was the main browser for all feature phones launched by Nokia, and then Microsoft.

But not anymore, since Microsoft has decided that Opera Mini is a much better choice than Nokia Xpress Browser that was included in Nokia 220 and Nokia 225.

Microsoft has just announced that new software updates are now available for Nokia 220 and Nokia 225, as well as their dual-SIM versions.

The first thing mentioned in the changelog is the fact that Nokia Xpress Browser has been replaced with Opera Mini browser.

Also, Microsoft has added Bing support to both feature phones. Last but not least, general stability and performance improvements have been implemented too.

Keep in mind that, in order to download and install these updates, you will need to use Microsoft's Software Recovery Tool. If you get the update, don't forget to let us know in the comments section if you notice any other changes besides the ones mentioned above.
