Tweetium, one of the few good Twitter clients for Windows Phone platform, has just received an update that fixes some issues and brings some under-the-hood improvements.

The most important change included in the update would be the fact that developers have temporarily reverted to the legacy photo upload API for single photo posts.

According to Tweetium developers, this was needed in order to work around Twitter's currently broken media upload API. Keep in mind though that multi-photo posts will still fail until Twitter fixes their bug.

The official changelog also mentions that developers have improved error handling for photo upload errors, including as Twitter's current “over capacity” errors.

Last but not least, several small performance tweaks and under-the-hood enhancements have been included in the latest update as well.

You can now download Tweetium for Windows Phone 3.5.1 for $2.99 via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and up.

It's worth mentioning that the base app price will provide users with the fully featured standard Universal App with support for using one Twitter account at a time on any of their Windows devices.

However, there's also a Tweetium Pro version which can be purchased from within the app and will allow users to add up to 7 Twitter accounts.
