Twitter launched its Periscope application on Android platform earlier this week, but users have been complaining of some issues that, in some cases, might ruin their experience with the application.

But fret no more, as Twitter is now back with the first update for Periscope, and the new version of the application has already been released in Google Play Store.

What new stuff it brings? Bug fixes for the most part, but also some improvements. Let's start with what issues have been addressed in this update.

First of all, developers have confirmed they have fixed an issue with sharing to Twitter. Another issue that some users were having with deleting their broadcasts or replays has been addressed as well.

According to the official changelog, the update should also fix an issue some users were having creating an account, as well as another problem with Save to Gallery

Last but not least, Twitter also stated that this release may also include traces of video improvements and stability.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Periscope for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.
